1. Who is responsible

Marine Supply (www.marinesupply.ae) is operated by Al Safwan Marine Equipment Maintenance LLC ("Al Safwan Marine", "we", "us"), Office #206, Team Business Centre, Industrial Area 15, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal data you give us on this website.

We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and the UAE e-commerce law (Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023).

2. What we collect

Information you give us

• Your name, email address, UAE mobile number and password when you register. We store the password only in encrypted form.
• Company name and TRN, if you give them for a tax invoice.
• Delivery addresses, including any location link or landmark you add.
• Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp, and notes you add to an order.

Information created when you use the site

• Your orders, quotation requests, quotations and invoices.
• Your cart contents.
• Your IP address and device or browser details, used for security and to prevent abuse.

What we do not collect

We do not take card payments online. We never collect or store card details.

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. The site cannot work without them.

If we enable Google Analytics, it collects anonymous usage data, such as pages viewed, to help us improve the site. It does not tell us who you are.

4. Why we use your data

• To fulfil your orders and quotations: to confirm, prepare, deliver and collect payment for your order.
• To issue invoices: we keep tax invoices and order records for 5 years, as UAE tax law requires.
• To give customer service: to answer questions, handle returns and resolve complaints.
• To keep the site secure: to protect your account and detect misuse.
• For marketing, only if you agree: offers, back-in-stock news and cart reminders by email.

5. Marketing choices

We send marketing emails only if you opt in. You can opt in when you register or later in your account.

You can stop at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or untick the option in your account. Order and service messages are still sent, because we need them to fulfil your orders.

6. Who we share it with

We share only what each party needs:

• Our delivery staff and couriers: your name, mobile number and delivery address.
• Our ERP system: order details, to process stock, orders and invoices.
• Our email provider (Google Workspace): to send and receive emails about your orders.
• Our hosting provider: to run the website and store its data.
• Authorities: when UAE law requires us to.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with others for their own marketing.

7. Where your data is stored

We store your data on secure servers. Some of our providers may process data outside the UAE. Where they do, we use providers with appropriate safeguards to protect it.

We limit access to staff who need it. Connections to the site are encrypted.

8. How long we keep it

• Invoices and order records: 5 years, as UAE tax law requires.
• Your account: while it is open. When you ask us to delete it, we delete your account data except records we must keep by law.
• Security logs: only as long as needed for security.

9. Your rights

Under UAE law, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data, subject to the records we must keep by law;
• stop using your data for marketing, or withdraw any consent you gave.

You can update most details yourself in your account. For anything else, email info@alsafwanmarine.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the UAE data protection authority.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
